Whether you choose tuition at home, at work or online, I will develop a course to suit your needs and goals. Every lesson I produce, regardless of the medium, is designed to suit each student as an individual with strengths and weaknesses and mutually agreed targets in mind. Every course is student specific, meaning all learning styles, interests and preferences are catered for. It is a personal pride of my work to give every student my professional commitment and attention to ensure the optimum development of skills, fluency and language confidence.

What?
1.1, 2.1 and small group Executive English lessons.
Why?
To improve communication within various business settings. Courses focus on general language and corporate skills such as preparing and delivering presentations, chairing meetings and minute taking, communicating by email, telephone and conference call and conducting effective and appropriate negotiations.
When?
Throughout the working day as conveniently scheduled, during a lunch break or after close of play.
Where?
In-house in an allocated meeting room, or at your employees’ homes after business hours.
How Often?
Due to business demands and professional commitments, it may not always be possible to attend as many lessons as deemed suitable. As such, all Executive English clients have access to my In-house or Online Business English Consultancy Service. This is a tutorial service dedicated to helping individual clients with presentations, emails, reports and other written items. Sessions are usually conducted in fifteen minute intervals and give students the opportunity to check, proof read and amend important documents prior to their delivery. I can be available on-site for these sessions or students can contact me directly to book an online session at our mutual convenience. A typical week schedule for an Executive English student might therefore be one hour of 1:1 in-house tuition plus two 15 minute online tutorials.
NB: I respect the confidential nature of your business and I will be pleased to sign the relevant documentation in advance of the commencement of any in-house business contract.
What?
1:1 Communication Sessions, General and Business English Courses, Trinity Exam Training, IELTS Exam Training, and all other Cambridge Suite courses. Online tutoring for KS2, KS3, GCSE and IB/A2 also available upon request.
Why?
- It’s convenient: Study from the comfort of your own home without feeling the need to clear up the living room!
- It’s effective: Lesson content is identical to that of the face-to-face sessions, however, the medium and the execution differs.
- It’s how we communicate in the modern world: We text, we email, we use social media, it’s how we listen to the radio and watch TV, it’s where we shop, where we work and now also, how we learn. With the aid of Google Docs, PowerPoint, file sharing, audio and visual, learning tools are limitless.
When?
Sunday to Thursday.
Where?
Lessons are delivered via the medium of Skype or Zoom and payable by BACS.
How Often?
For best results and fast progress, students should aim to attend a lesson at least twice a week.
Important information: A suitable connection is essential for effective online tuition. Every student is therefore invited to participate in a free introductory Skype/Zoom session. This is not a lesson, but an opportunity for both student and tutor to meet and check the connection is sufficient for successful lessons. There is no obligation to sign up after this informal chat however any further questions with regard to a possible course or programme can be raised and answered at this time.
